Finishing Options
Tran-Tec offers an array of finishes.
The most common surface finishes include:
- Natural aluminum, clean, deburred, caustic etched and desmutted.
- Type II anodized, per MIL-A-8625 specifications, in natural aluminum, black or gold colors.
- Conversion coating with gold hexavalent chromate (not RoHS compliant), clear trivalent chromate (RoHS compliant) and gold non-chromate (RoHS compliant) meeting MIL-DTL-5541 standards.
Other finishes such as hardcoat anodizing, plating, paint, silk screened markings or powdercoat are available through outside service providers with whom we have working relationships.
